People and Change Lead based London FTC [MPI-01078]

A leading international organisation which has dealing with over 100 countries across the globe is now looking for an experienced professional to join its team on a 12 – 18 month fixed term contract.

Role: People and Change Lead based London FTC 12 – 18 months [MPI-01078]

Scope:  To proactively prepare the business for the impact of the changes being delivered by the project and to implement the organisation design developed in the Programme providing a bridge between the projects and the business users to ensure that activities are planned and completed to enable the business to implement the agreed change and realise the business benefits.

Duties & Responsibilities include:
• Create the global change and communications approach, methodology, framework and toolkit
• Determine the change implications for each Transforming HR project
• Manages regular reports on progress and tracking of country / regional roll outs  building capability where required
• Holds blueprint for design of the operating model ensuring alignment between Regional / Country proposals and the vision
• Take ownership of the OD toolkit and develop supporting transition approach to prepare countries for change
• Set and co-ordinate the steering group and approvals process for country and regional structure during the roll out phase
• Plan and manage the core budget for their area of activity
• Act as a key advisor to Regional Change Managers and Regional Business Leads
• Deliver persuasive business case presentations on the need for significant changes
• Identify, analyse and prepare mitigation tactics for risk and resistance
• Establish close working relationships with the Regional and Country HR Change Leads
• Develop the communications and consultation plan, managing the flow of information
• Build a network of internal sponsors and supporters to help influence decision-making
• Provide formal line management to a small team across multiple regions

Skills & Experience
• University degree or equivalent
• Professional change management qualification
• Experience in mobilizing and delivering large scale organizational change
• Excellent people management and relationship building skills
• Experience of working in a Programme environment in a public sector environment
• Solid understanding of the impact/management of people/organizational change
• Strong impact and presentation skills
• Change management experience
• Independence and initiative to perform successfully in a rapidly changing environment
• Fluent English is essential, other languages are desirable

Salary:  Commensurate with experience
