Relocation Consultant based South East [MPI-01106]

A global relocation and assignment management companies, offering a broad portfolio of services now seeks a Relocation Consultant for its UK/EMEA operation.

Role: International Relocation Consultant, based UK, South East [MPI-01106]


Responsibilities:

• Act as main point of contact for assignee and family for relocation / assignment management services providing a policy briefing to all assignees
• Conduct a needs analysis to establish assignee’s specific requirements and address needs, adjusting services and counselling to changing needs through the move process
• Coordinate and manage the delivery of third party services (home search, destination services, move management, immigration, tax services, training and spousal counselling)
• Proactively manage advice and support to all parties throughout the assignment
• Provide direction in relation to policy and benefits counselling, work flow administration, rental assistance coordination, financial services and supplier coordination
• Act as liaison between Tax & Compensation team and customer service team
• Prepare assignment documentation in accordance with client policies and assignment specific parameters maintaining file documentation and ensuring data integrity
• Review and evaluate exception requests providing solutions to clients
• Facilitate the expense management process by updating databases for all third party payments and expenses
• Control caseload of transferees ensuring a high level of service satisfaction
• Measure customer satisfaction on a timely basis
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for distribution both internally and externally
• Assist with the on-boarding of new team members and work with management on various projects


Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors’ degree or equivalent with 1 – 4 years’ experience in customer service role
• Previous experience in assignment management / relocation services including C&B
• Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) certification preferred
• Direct client interaction and advisory experience required
• Fluency in a foreign language(s) preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
• Strong verbal and written communications skills as well as excellent customer service
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, etc., percentages and fractions
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

This role is ideally suited to someone with assignment management (rather than pure destination services) experience, with one year minimum as a requirement.

Remuneration guide: £33 – 38k per annum commensurate with experience
