Senior Mobility Advisor based Manchester FTC 12 months [MPI-01110]

A leading international organisation which has dealing with over 100 countries across the globe is now looking for a Senior International Mobility Advisor to join its Manchester based team.

Role: Senior International Mobility Advisor [MPI-01110] 12 month FTC

Scope:  The role of the Senior International Mobility Advisor is to support effective, consistent delivery of Mobility Operations across the network of globally mobile staff through the implementation of efficient processes and procedures to manage the assignment life cycle and associated compliance requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Support mobility casework using best practice knowledge and experience
• Prepare and review assignment documentation
• Manage complex assignment compliance issues in conjunction with service providers
• Support with operations and process optimization projects
• Support Mobility Advisors with casework queries acting as initial point of escalation
• Review processes making suggestions to enable effective, compliant practices
• Prepare costings and compensation summaries for the stakeholders / assignees
• Proactively support assignees in understanding the assignment life-cycle and associated processes
• Lead on annual compensation reviews including COL, location rating and salary/hypotax

Skills & Experience

• University degree or equivalent
• Proven experience within the global mobility industry supporting tax, social security and immigration compliance management as well as policy application, relocation support, payroll support and reporting requirements
• Experience of multiple assignment policy types and compensation methodologies
• Must have experience of delivering high quality work as part of a team
• Must have wider understanding of how GM supports other areas of HR
• Positive, customer focused ‘can-do’ attitude with demonstrating initiative and desire to succeed
• Experience of assignment calculations and compensation reviews required
• Ability to take ownership of projects and work autonomously or as part of a team
• Fluent English is essential, other languages are desirable

Salary:  £28-33k commensurate with experience
